GTA: VICE CITY

Grand Theft Auto: Vice City (GTA: VC) is a third-person action-adventure video game developed by British studio Rockstar North and published by American studio Rockstar Games. It is the fourth main and second three-dimensional game in the Grand Theft Auto series. The game was released on October 29, 2002 for the PlayStation 2 console and on May 12, 2003 for personal computers. The Austrian studio Rockstar Vienna also ported the game to the Xbox, releasing the Grand Theft Auto: Double Pack collection, which also included the previous game in the series, Grand Theft Auto III. On January 4, 2008, the game became available for download via the Steam online service. In honor of the tenth anniversary of the game's release, on December 6, 2012, Rockstar released a special version of the game for mobile devices running iOS and Android operating systems. The porting was handled by the American company War Drum Studios. On January 29, 2013, a ported version of the game from PlayStation 2 to PlayStation 3 was released and distributed via PlayStation Network. On November 11, 2021, Rockstar Games released a remastered collection, Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition, which included GTA III, GTA: Vice City, and GTA: San Andreas.
